Central Minnesota Council on Aging awards Title III federal Older Americans Act grants and contracts to local agencies for services that enrich the lives of those 60 years and older. The funding provides homemaker, chore, assisted transportation, legal assistance, home-delivered meals, congregate-dining meals, evidenced-based health promotion programs, caregiver supports, and respite care services.
Individuals who receive these services may be offered the opportunity to make a voluntary contribution or participate in client cost share. However, there are no income guidelines and no one will be denied services.
